This is me!
The first and most important thing I would like to say on this page is a huge thank you for all the students, parents, and teachers who have given me positive and critical feedback of this site.
I have been a teacher of both Chemistry and Science at Maroochydore SHS on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland for over 20 years. I am a passionate believer in the opportunity for everybody to have a quality education. I also believe that success in school is ultimately the result of hard work and persistence, and not simply a consequence of natural ability.
I have been fortunate enough to have opportunities to present some of my work at numerous teaching conferences, and for that work recognised through a variety of teaching awards.
Classroom teaching however is a constant challenge to perfect. Ideally I should have strategies in place for all of the learning styles present in my classroom - realistically this has yet not proven possible, so I continue to learn and hopefully improve. This website is one small attempt to help my students and the resourcs are those I use daily in the classroom.
